On some of those brush pats ther were some very large insects. And they also looked over some fish habitats in the seaweed, I mean lakeweed.
There was a good swimming shallow near the shore in the Forest of Reeds. Only one problem I saw. An overinfestation of green algae cluds in the area.
I proceeded to launce off the shore and I rowed around Red Wing Blackbird point. (They are very prevalent in this area.)
And in the shimmering water I thought I saw the handle of a shovel. I thought I would come back in and retirieve it on my way in.
And then as I continued rowing I saw what appeared to be a golf ball sitting at the bottom of the lake. The shimmering white object was just sitting there. So I reached through the surface and retireved the golf ball like object.
At this point I turned around and headed back toward the point and I got to the "shovel handle". It ended up being a stick.
I included images of the two items retrieved.
